I am sure Scott's information is valuable, and to the point. However, you guys are missing the bigger picture, and that is being helpful to the community as a whole, ESPECIALLY to those who ask simple questions. Point is, if we don't know an answer, then our question is always a simple question to someone else with more experience! I felt "flamed" by Scott's response, and I am a newbie to the forum, but hardly a newbie to the programming community. There is always a way to be direct, without offending in the same manner. And if you can't do that, then it isn't helpful, in any format.
Tracy: Those of use who've been reading on-line discussions for years and years have learned not to take on-line discussions too seriously or too personally. It's best to concentrate on the technical content of the discussion and not the style. Cheers! Hans
