While both of these are also hughly desirable, it doesn't seem Toronto has the
authority to fully solve either one of them.  What we need is for Rochester to
be as receptive to these particular improvements as Toronto...

Hans has mentioned Toronto is already looking for ways to increase the usability
of the SQL pre-processor.  (Like they did with /Include instead of /Copy.)

Full operational descriptor support also has to start at Rochester...
