I've seen the request for a "convert to hex" function used for conversion to 'C1C2' and conversion to X'C1C2'. What do you mean by "123", and what do you mean by "hex"? Tell us what field type holds the 123 and exactly what value it would hold; and what field type you want the result in and exactly what value you want it to hold. Barbara Morris
