RE: Can I Rename A Field For An Output File?

I thought that if I put it on an O spec that it would be the only field
updated when I write out a record.  I'll have to give it a try sometime and
test the result.

Well, you're trying to use I-specs on a file that's defined as _output
only_.  Do you see the inherent flaw in this? :-)

Try using O-specs instead (I _think_ you can do this, but I haven't had
to do anything like it in a while, so I may be mistaken).
