I did this part O.K.  The problem is that both files use the name LOCAT
where one is 7 long and the other is 5 long.
I went with the Input File and the Add records flag in the F spec.  Was just
hoping that I was missing something else with the rename capabilities
because not many are used to seeing the I F with an A and it sometimes gets
missed when scanning for programs that update the file as opposed to just
reading the file.

Try doing the fix in the Calcs instead of in Output.  Define your output
field and do a Z-Add or Move or MoveL into the output field.  ( I presume
the problem you are solving is differing field lengths?)

    C            MOVEL  LOCAT           LOCAT5             5

for instance.
