It seems to me that your first problem is finding a way for the NT server to realize it has received a file, and to send some sort of a message to the AS/400. Since I'm not an NT person (and this is not an NT mailing list) I can't help you there. Your next problem will be a way for the AS/400 to receive this message and act upon it. Without having addressed the first point, however, we can't even BEGIN to address this point! Without any concept of what you're able to do on the NT side, here's all I can suggest: 1) Have the customer FTP directly to your AS/400, and use "quote rcmd" to kick off a program to process things. 2) Have a program run on the AS/400 that "polls" the FTP server to see if a new file has appeared. (in other words, checks every few minutes) I've been developing a set of FTP APIs that could be used to do this in RPG quite easily.
