might try a clp to wake up and attempt a "get" from the NT.
monitor the ftplog for errors (that file not found) and try again later.
probably some ftp software out to do just that.

Subject: FTP Question

> Is there a way to tell the AS400 a file as been received on a separate
server and is ready for processing? I have a customer who will be sending
me data via FTP to an NT Server. Once the file is on the server I would
like it to send something to the AS400 to tell it data has arrived so the
AS400 can retreive the data and begin running the jobs. Any ideas?
