No you don't.  You can still use UPDATE or EXCEPT output.  I do it all
the time.  The only place I may still have "H" or "D" or "T" output
specs is if I haven't looked at a program in 10+ years.  And since Y2K
is a recent memory, I doubt there are many of those. <g>
