Change your startup program to put the system time stamp to data area. Rtvsysval qdate &date chgdtaara ipldate &date ... repeat for qtime. For waking up ever xx seconds, you can wait at a data queue for xx seconds. If no data received, do your normal processing. I like data queues because you get more control. You can send data queue entries to end/re-start or change the wait time to the data queue and your program wakes up instantly and processes the data queue entries. Good Luck, Christopher K. An all night review of the books at publib.ibm.com gives me nothing useful. I also need something to wake up my program every 120 seconds or so. Something like signal handlers. Anyone know how to do this?
