I'm trying to love WSL.  I can't do WSL2 because I don't have Windows 10 Pro on this machine.  Even though my PC supports it, Microsoft of course hobbles it (as it does RDP) on the Home version.  I haven't yet managed to force myself to pony up the $100 upgrade/extortion fee.
