Not that you should bother with WSL 2, but the point of my reply was
to say that I'm not so sure your Windows 10 Home is lacking the
Hyper-V feature. Many people report (again, not verified by me) that
they have Hyper-V working on Windows 10 Home. Some have had to resort
to BIOS settings to do it, but that is different than saying that it's
not available to you.
The number of references online that say WSL 2 is available for
Windows 10 Home (including people who say they have it actually
running) makes me believe that the folks who say it isn't have
outdated information.
