Yes, I understand what you said.  And I said that I tried following the Microsoft Documentation and was unable to do so. I'm not saying there isn't a workaround, just that it wasn't worth the time to pursue.

Not that you should bother with WSL 2, but the point of my reply was

to BIOS settings to do it, but that is different than saying that it's
not available to you.

The number of references online that say WSL 2 is available for
Windows 10 Home (including people who say they have it actually
running) makes me believe that the folks who say it isn't have
outdated information.
