A relevant passage from that post:

Make sure you're on the latest version of ibm_db. I'm not sure if the
original shipped version of ibm_db_dbi actually worked. Since 2.0.5.1 it
should work, but I'd get to 2.0.5.4, which is shipped with SI60567.

Litmis Spaces currently has 2.0.5.1, which Kevin says "should work",
but maybe it doesn't. At least not without user and password. (And of
course I don't know if it works even with user and password.)

That kind of stuff is pretty simple. I could probably manage some pull

requests, once I'm able to establish access to an environment in which I
can test my own mods.

Let me know what you need and I will add it to your Space. This is the
same thing I did for David Dressler** to get his PHP/Nginx stuff compiled.

I appreciate your continued enthusiasm and support, which I think is
great for the community, but I definitely am not thinking in terms of
compiling ibm_db from source (in C). I just meant that once a working
ibm_db is installed (for all Python Litmis Spaces), I might be able to
futz with the pure-Python aspects (in the ibm_db_dbi module).
