A relevant passage from that post:

Make sure you're on the latest version of ibm_db. I'm not sure if the
original shipped version of ibm_db_dbi actually worked. Since 2.0.5.1

should work, but I'd get to 2.0.5.4, which is shipped with SI60567.

Litmis Spaces currently has 2.0.5.1, which Kevin says "should work",
but maybe it doesn't. At least not without user and password. (And of
course I don't know if it works even with user and password.)

Yeah, I misspoke there. 2.0.5.1 was the version of ibm_db (and ibm_db_dbi)
that originally shipped. The changes to make ibm_db_dbi work properly for
IBM i went in to 2.0.5.2 (SI58191).
