The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

We can easily get two full saves on a single LTO7 cartridge; overflowing
onto the next volume isn't a concern.
From a STORAGE perspective this might be true. From an actual 'will it
work' perspective, this is incorrect.
A 'Full System Save', often referred to as a 'SAVE 21' starts with a
SAVSYS and that MUST be the first file on the tape. As a consequence,
you cannot get more than a single full save on a single tape.
So depending on your definition it might work.
Always consider that having multiple saves on the same tape puts them
all in jeopardy at the same time. There are valid reasons you might do
this of course, but it's not generally a great idea. I've seen customers
just roll through 20 tapes in a library, appending to the 'next tape'
every day, for over two years. Recovering that system when they blew two
drives in a RAID set was, um, 'profitable.' ;-)
