Therefore IBM takes a strong stance on being of being over careful not to get into a questionable situation. That and IBM has always been very careful about pre-announcements unlike some of it's competition. In the end it does not really affect 90% of us, we wait for the announcement, and GA date and are happy to move on.

Thanks, Jim! This is a very reasonable argument and I simply wasn't aware about stock implications. One could argue that stock arguably changes if someone accidentally sneezes, but this is out of scope of this discussion. ;-)
