Hello Justin,

Am 26.10.2022 um 21:36 schrieb Justin Taylor <jtaylor.0ab@xxxxxxxxx>:

IT tells me that my emails are going to an old obsolete mail server. My
TCP connections show two connections with the Remote Address of the wrong
mail server with Remote Port of 25. I don't have any connections using the
correct mail server IP. Emails I send show the wrong mail server in the
headers.

Any idea what to check?

Check if you have outdated entries in your hosts table, also.

And, check with IT if the DNS name is only once in DNS. If one hostname resolves to multiple names, client implementation will use that for some crude round-robin scheme of load-balancing: Each try hits the next IP address since the last query.

:wq! PoC
