The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I do not think it defeats the purposes. Again it is for those vendors who choose to use it.
If you're perfectly happy charging your customer for both their primary machine and their backup machine and they have limitless pockets and are willing to pay it then continue to do so.
However some of the software companies are charging exorbitant prices then add on charges based on model, then add on charges for lpars it's not even running on then... Some of these we don't even load on the backup box and we'll just do without when running on that box.
