Jacob,Yes, they can... but not at the same time. If a partition has a VSN, the unique way for it to run on another server than the current one, is to move it with LPM (Live Partition Migration) or SRR (Simplified Remote Restart). So, at any time, the partition will run on only one server.
I got that part, but I'm wondering if a customer has two boxes, can they run the same virtual serial number on each one?
