Hmm, we also have a user profile called EDIONR. Been a few decades since EDI was my job here and I know the package we use has changed names repeatedly. However ours doesn't have a jvm job running at this exact moment.
Google shows me that JSCOM3C belongs to DB2 WebQuery.

The burning question is whether it's necessary to get rid of the jobs *before* pulling the PTFs, or simply to restart them after.

Backing out PTFs is not something I can recall ever having to do.
