Another thing to remember, they may have been multiple PTF's applied at the same time for the same thing. Let me explain.
SI77716 supersedes PTF SI77054.
If you look at the cover letter for SI77054 it plainly states that it upgraded the JVM to SR6FP35.

If it's been awhile since they put on PTF's then it's highly likely that both these PTF's have been put on at the same time. And if SI77716 superseded SI77054 then it's highly likely SI77054 is already permanently applied and you are toast.
I will tell you that I have PTF's downloaded and set to apply at the next IPL. Among these are SI77716. On my machine SI77054 is already permanently applied.
