Hello mr. Lampert

I will try as good as I can - however I am not a part of the IceCap team.
On the other hand I am very proud that IceCap under the covers is using my
IceBreak server for doing all the magic. .. so here a "semi vendor alert":

1)
The "locked to session" issue you have experienced is actually the "session
stability by URL redications" feature that allows you to transfer session
between users and browsers ( handy for support) - However in this case
works counter intuitive ....
In short: I gave you a wrong link, sorry-

Try this one:

http://try.icecap.icebreak.org/menu/icecap

2)
Also I noted that you findings was that IceCap is a more a screnscaper.
Actually it is just that you have full control of the 5250 as JSON so you
can add features and hereby do screen scraping.
But right out of the box IceCap is just an ajax client calling a
microservice layer.

So it is right is can be beefed up to do screen scraping, automation and
all the bells and whistles.
try this link with user demo and password demo:

http://try.icecap.icebreak.org

(Note: You can logon, work and log off with this link - but you have to
re-paste the link in the browser if you want to login again)

To clarify:

We're specifically looking for a web emulator, because the Java browser
app is rapidly ceasing to be "a thing," and because many of our users
use the web interface on our CRM product, rather than the classic Java
Client.

And scripting is because our emulator is scriptable, allowing our CRM
application to automate its embedded version of that emulator.
