Almost. Writing a web-based front-end to our emulator would likely be
very difficult and time-consuming. We're looking to find something
HTML-based that already works, or that's already very close to working,
and that either has scripting capability of its own (that can be
accessed from a Tomcat-based webapp), or onto which we can graft the
scripting capability from our emulator.
So far, not just looking at emulation, but also at general JavaScript
code for processing function keys, Mr. Liisberg's product is the only
thing I've seen that can keep Chrome from throwing up (and my choice of
phrase is intentional) the Developer Tools sidebar when I hit F12
(certainly an important function key in a 5250 emulator).
