Hello Mr. Lampert,

The only negative feedback from the clients I know that are using IceCap is
issues with cut/paste and SysReq menu. Everything else seems to work just
fine in any modern (Edge, Chrome, Safari) HTML5 compliant browser on
win/mac/linux.

That's exactly what I mean: I haven't found anything else that do this. Even the demonstration of the HotKeys JS library at
https://wangchujiang.com/hotkeys/
breaks if I hit F12 (certainly a very important key in a 5250 emulator!) in Chrome, on my Mac, with Chrome throwing up an unwanted developer tool sidebar. Yet somehow, your demo at
http://try.icecap.icebreak.org/.2020011010155089055202/menu/icecap.aspx
manages to intercept F12 before Chrome sees it.

Also, with your products, and in particular with the above demo, I'm not entirely sure what it is I'm looking at. That URL seems to be tied to a very specific terminal session; if I'm signed on there in, say, Chrome, and then I open the same URL in Firefox, I don't get a fresh sign-on screen; instead, I get whatever screen I happened to be at in Chrome. And if I send that same URL over to a colleague, and he opens it in a browser on his desktop system, he also gets whatever screen I'm currently seeing. Obviously, that's not desired behavior in a terminal emulation.

Which is to say, we are looking for simple emulation, not screen-scraping, and we're looking for something that can be scripted.
