Ahhhhh paper tape!  The goto for my high school programming class.  We also had a mylar tape with the PDP11 operating system on it.  I know, because I blew the thing up several times and it had to be reloaded... that did NOT make me popular with the math teacher.

I sometimes give talks at local schools about our industry and I take
several storage media with me to demonstrate the changes. Cards and Paper
tape are two of them.
