Yes, that is why I use the "PComm Session" scalable font because it
eliminates most of those black borders. But I also never maximize
my session windows because that causes stretching of the font. I
can drag the session borders to whatever size I want and the scaled
font doesn't stretch the letters. So, in this case there is *some*
black border either on the sides or the top/bottom but not both.
