Not the partition number. There are a couple of other things as well but
that's one you have to shut down for.

Shouldn't you be able to do maintenance on a profile whether it is activated
or not? The partition just only takes the changes to the profile when it's
activated, from profile.
If so, then, based on what I'm seeing, you cannot change the partition id.
So creating your partitions in order, and perhaps even a dummy partition in
between just so you get the same partition id's as on your old system, is
one way to get the desired partition numbers.

I don't have a partition to try it on but I believe the partition must be
deactivated, then go into profile maintenance and you should be able to
change it. Then re-activate.
