Hi,

I just wanted you to be aware that IBM WebSphere Liberty is scheduled to
cease working with Java 7 in September of 2019 when fixpack 19.0.0.3 is
released (latest current fixpack is 18.0.0.2). Integrated application
servers and integrated web services servers are two products that depend
on Liberty. There are many others.

So to ensure a smooth transition, it would be best to load on your systems
Java 8 64 bit and change the Java used by your integrated application
servers and integrated web services servers to Java 8 by using the IBM Web
Administration GUI for i. Select the server, then click on the
Server->Properties link and you will be able to select a Java version from
a selection list.

This information is also on the Integrated Web Application Server for IBM
i web site[1].
