passwords in the windows pc, and then try the same users and passwords
in the AS/400  (at that time)

Oh, user can't get a list of IBM i users because they don't have authority
to them? No problem:
WRKOBJ OBJ(QUSRSYS/*ALL) OBJTYPE(*MSGQ)
Gotta have access to their message queue or you can't send them a message.
