I've got a share on my Win 7 workstation that is set so Everyone can
see it and Guest has access.

I can see and access the share on another workstation (that has uses
a different user id and isn't in the Windows domain). The other
workstation couldn't see the share until I gave the Guest user id
access to it.

The problem is, I can't see the share when I use WRKLNK to
'/QNTC/MYWORKSTATION'.

OK, I solved the problem.

Just to make sure that the connection from the i to my workstation was working, I fired up wireshark to monitor traffic.

With the appropriate filter in place, I started a capture and saw SMB traffic from the i to my workstation ... but it appeared to be being rejected with an "Out of memory" error.

So I rebooted my workstation and tried to browse the shares under /QNTC/MYWORKSTATION and was able to see the shares and files!
