Anybody else following this thread using JDE World?

I think it's a good idea to reach out to other JDE World users because the more homogeneous the hosting environment is across multiple tenants, the more efficient and economical the operation.

The most efficient would be able to host multiple tenants without partitioning the IBM i server. However, I assume that with JDE World, each tenant would require their own partition.

Any members of your local user group using JDE World?

What local user group? There used to be one in the Kansas City area, but it's been defunct for years. There is only one other JDE World customer in our area that I know of, and they are a large international corp.

I can't imagine any customers wanting to share the same partition. We wouldn't want to host our data on a shared partition even if the authorities were set correctly.
And I'm not sure Oracle would be pleased about a single license being shared across multiple entities.

Thanks
