If your boss isn't going to keep your iSeries infrastructure current, then the applications that are running there must not be important at all ....

So, just keep running with your old hardware and V7.1 until something major breaks or your applications won't run on it anymore.

That'll save him a bunch of money... I bet he still has an old PC on his desk running XP too. Am I right! LOL

Actually, no. We run Windows 10 on all user machines.

But his PC Is one of the older ones on the network.
