Oh man! I understand that. Makes sense on many levels.
The epiphany for me was SQL and its ability to select %like and also
could be case insensitive. Suddenly the filtering options took a new
turn. Now Set to: The Bisc can be Include: %bisc" and you'll get The
Biscuit Company. This is especially useful when spelling gets awkward.
Or when memory is a tad weak. Or when you aren't sure about using "The ".
