Rob,
When messing like that with VIOS I like to have a good excel document with
each device, where it's mapped, how is the SEA formed and what vlans it
servers. that way when something like this happens I just rmdev -Rdl
everything and start anew. it's faster to build 2 sea, 2 vlan and set the
IP on whatever vlan you want than trying to make the devices match again
with the new names (that and I can't stand the devices being in mixed
order, ent0 is ent0 not ent19!).
Maybe it'll work for you?
Roberto

While I was suffering from having my head inserted into a dark stinky
place and forgetting some history I tried changing the IP address on ent4
by using smit. If I would have just left that alone I would have probably
been ok. I am going to try changing it back, again. It takes a long time
to run. I have a meeting to go to which should last over an hour. It may
or may not be done by then.
