Okay - this is something for me to test. I am using:
My Data Sources
Connect to New Data Source.odc
....and then following the wizard for the rest of my connection.
......changing the option from a "table definition" to an "sql
definition".

You indicate you are using VBA via IBMDA400. I will test a VBA connection
just as you, using the same sql statement, and check my results. Could it
be the difference of "wizard mode" versus VBA??
It's good to know this is working for someone.
