Thank you for the links, and your patience.

As to vendor level:  I have no contact with the vendor.  My boss >had<
contact with vendor.  He is trying to get that restored.  It is just plain
weird.  At times, I feel like I am rearranging deck chairs on Titanic.
System still used, minimal level, for an uncertain time.  People seem to be
jumping ship when they can.
