FLIB and CURLIB are two completely different things, but I took the message
in the spirit it was intended, and responded accordingly. I understood what
Luis was trying to say.
For the record, FLIB is the files library used by System/36 Environment
jobs. It has no meaning outside of S/36E, and is relevant for files only.
The default is library QS36F and (outside of my company) is rarely changed.
It can be changed system-wide using CHGS36A, or for a job using the FLIB
command. The system value can be retrieved using RTVS36A, but I have not
found a way to retrieve a job's FLIB value.
I appreciate all replies from anyone trying to help.

Err... sorry, but aren't FLIB and CURLIB two *completely* different things
(that are both supported in S/36 env)?
If my CURLIB is set to QGPL and my FLIB is set to QS36F, then it seems to
me Timothy wants to retrieve QS36F, but RTVJOBA will return QGPL.
What am I missing?

Wouldn't the current FLIB work as the job's CURLIB, in which case RTVJOBA
would suffice?
