Thanks again - I wasn't sure about a part number - I'd also downloaded those GNU Utilities years ago. I'm glad to see they are folded into the 5799PTL offering.

The version of 5799PTL that I have also has a PHP installation bit - I suppose that is supplanted now by ZEND?

There used to be a downloadable zip file within the PartnerWorld pages that
contained a *savf of ILE ports of several GNU utilities such as gmake, gzip,
bison, etc as well as the Qshell commands "icc" and "ld". These allow you
to set up a UNIX "make" environment within Qshell that produces ILE QSYS
*PGM and *SRVPGM objects. I don't recall that this ever had an orderable
"part number" -- but, at any rate, all of these were rolled into the same
5799PTL product we've been discussing in this X / VNC thread.

FWIW, another popular thing included in 5799PTL is the Perl scripting
language.
