What you need is add a new hostname (for example, sst-mymachine) to
C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts with an IP address that's currently
unused (e.G. 192.168.0.15).

I went ahead and configured the hosts file. Then I opened Ops Cons for the
first time since upgrading it to the latest version and am getting the below
message (see URL screen shot).

I am guessing this has something to do with my PC config and nothing to do
with Ops Cons per se, though I can't see to figure out what that would be
because I have tried setting my IP back to DHCP, rebooted, tried opening Ops
Cons again, but still get same message of "Could not connect to 127.0.0.1".

I hit OK and configured a connection anyway, but when I was done configuring
the connection it never showed up in the Ops Cons list. I then tried to
configure it again but it said the server host name I was attempting to add
already exists.

I then thought "well, maybe I can still get prompted by something if I
reboot the IBM i with Ops Cons running" - no go on that either.

Thoughts?
