No other significant network activity is going on.
I just noticed that the batch job that does the copy spends most of its
time in TIMW. That makes me think there is something not quite right
about the NFS configuration, but I can't imagine what that might be.
if you want to understand why that is, there are many good books on
the design of operating systems. please pass them along to redmond
when you're done reading them :)
