The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

When selecting libraries with option 1 in PDM, what's the difference
between *ALL and *ALLUSR?
The same as it is on all commands that support *ALL and *ALLUSR. See
the help text for DSPOBJD.
The help for *ALL states that the sort is by project name. What's
the project name?
That should only be present if you have Application Development
Manager installed. This is a
really good source code management system but since deprecated by IBM
and is no longer sold.
ADM was integrated into PDM. You shouldn't see any discussion of
projects, groups, or parts unless:
1) You have ADM installed
2) You are taking an ADM option
What release are you on that you see "project" mentioned in the help
text for option 1 on STRPDM?
The help for *ALLUSR seems to indicate that the list is the same as
*ALL including user libraries.
Read it again--especially after you read the help text for DSPOBJD.
*ALL and *ALLUSR are quite different.
Does that mean that *ALL is not all as it does not include user
libraries?
No, *ALL is everything. *ALLUSR is a subset.
What are the user libraries.
Read the help text for DSPOBJD.

Simon Coulter.
