Have you been able to make Jasper Reports work with the System I? I have tried a couple of times, but have never been able to succesfully connect. I've always started with iReport instead of using Jasper Reports directly.

How about an idea from left field? There's an open source solution
called Jasper Reports - Java-based, I think. It's become quite
popular - we are embedding it in some of our new products. Not sure
how it would work with VB, but there is a designer piece, too.
http://jasperreports.sourceforge.net/ will get you started, perhaps.
Oh, I did see that there is a drill down piece that goes along with it.
