Improved how?

Get rid of the green screen? Sorry, that's a non-starter ... there's
nothing about the System i that says the applications must run in a
green screen. True, you need a green screen to manage it, but that's
it. Heck, most unix variants native mode of operation is text based.

Better security? Well, that's what this whole thread was about.

Better languages? Java, php, phython, etc.

To my mind, the only thing about the System i that _really_ needs to be
improved is the marketing. If more people know what it was, what it was
capable of, and what it's strengths were, it would be the most prevalent
system in the market (IMO).
