John - In regard to Waynes, reply:

To do it at the printer level, you'll need to specify additional information in the ADDRPYLE command.

Example:
I have a printer named LASER1 that I want to Ignore the forms change request message:

If I do this:
ADDRPYLE SEQNBR(000100) MSGID(CPA3394) CMPDTA('LASER1' 41) RPY(I)
the system will automatically reply to the CPA3394 message if the device name begins with 'LASER1'.

Beware:
If you have devices named LASER10, LASER11, etc., they will also be replied automatically...

If I do this:
ADDRPYLE SEQNBR(000100) MSGID(CPA3394) CMPDTA('LASER' 41) RPY(I)
the system will automatically reply to the CPA3394 message for any printer whose name begins with 'LASER'

Add the CPA3394 message to the system reply list (ADDRPYLE) with a
default reply value of 'I' or 'G'. In the user job description or the
user's initial program, issue a CHGJOB INQMSGRPY(*SYSRPYL). Leave the
system operator with the default value of *RQD. This will also
eliminate the problem of having to reply to the forms message initially
with newly-created devices.

I know this has been discussed. I just can't recall if there was resolution to
the problem.

Is there a way to send an 'I' to a forms change request, for a specific printer?

The printers are Lexmark laser printers, and printing from Series i would only
be to plain paper.

But, there are other printers that would need to have the forms change request
sent to QSYSOPR.
