RE: AS/400 vs iSeries vs System i

IBM ought to push it vigorously and so should we.

Yeah, and they're not even trying.

AS/400 and OS/400 are still sprinkled throughout V5R4.

iSeries Access is still called "iSeries Access" (and all the related
applications like iSeries Navigator).

Also, iSeries Access still installs to %PROGRAMFILES%\IBM\Client Access\
- which is an even older name.

Not to mention that the whole iSeries Access stuff doesn't work
correctly under Windows Vista - a shame really since betas were
available for normal people since over 1.5 years.

CEs still refer to it as iSeries or AS/400 - those are people under IBMs
direct influence.
