IBM puts in obfuscated URLs in for a reason - they want you to see
their "flaming logos" on their >main page. When obfuscation doesn't
work they use some obscure feature that causes the url to not >function
correctly unless you came in from a particular method.
Nothing obscure involved, its just checking the 'Referred-by' header in
your http request, and deciding what to do with you. Most commonly this
method is used to prevent off-site linkage to various content, images,
files, etc, or to force users to access a site from specific other sites
only.
