25 seconds - wow!
When I first had this problem, 2 months ago, I went round & round not finding it, and posted to this list for an answer.
My mistake I apologize for the rant if this has been there all along.
I did start with the Add a Disk search, and perhaps that has only an
Ops Nav view (but i can't get there right now to try).
thanks Steve.

Jim, I just went into the HIC, and it took me about 25 seconds to find
step by step instructions on adding a disk unit using SST... Right down
to how many times to press F12 to get back to the screens you need. Try
searching on 'add disk unit sst'. It does assume the drive is already in
the cage and ready to be configured.

Pat - i beleive (only because i spent hours looking and could not find
it...)
that much of what was once there is now removed from the Hdw Info
Center.
And at least in the area of adding disk drives, the SST menus have
all the functions needed, they just are no longer documented.
