A good bit of that is covered in the Hardware Information
Center. It does take some looking and luck to find it.

The other problem is that IBM chose to implement certain
thing using the Operations Navigator "only" which is a
real show stopper for some folks. The twinax console crowd
is screwed in certain functions. I'll never understand that.

for Problem Determination

A great book - but not what I am looking for.
This book is all Problem Determination.
Adding disk does not fall within that category.
IBM removed (i think) or buried very deeply documentation for doing this in SST, even though
the SST method is not outdated, still functions, and in certain environments
is the only choice. I understand removing obsolete docs, but do not
understand removing docs for a working/fuctioning part of the system!
Not asking you to search their system for it - I've already done the work.
But there will be a "next time" and the same problem.
