That's why Virtual Tape support was added to V5R4, to get around that
problem.

Just tried it and it was pretty adamant about only one library per save 
file.


Out of curiosity, what happens to the save files after they are created?

I create save files of all of our production libraries every night and 
push them to our backup i5 where they are both stored until the next 
night, and backed up to tape.
