RE: Special authority use ... Auditing *SAVF

We got patches from software vendors in the form of their tape to a *SAVF file on disk, then some command, that in combination extracted the data, and executed something within it that got the patch software where the vendor wanted it. I did not like that approach. I wanted client to be able to examine what was coming in before patch happened.
Anyhow, one time we got error message ... the stuff on this tape is OWNED by user name ____ which was given & that user name does not exist on this system. Having access to master security officer sign-on, it was easy enough task to add user _____ to our system, and make it a member of the group that needed access to the software, then use it to access the vendor patch.
